Its Been a long time for me. Soon everyone will likely just forget about me
Well I have a load of pics to upload. Just need a kick to get at it.
This was about the first picture I took with my camera the day I got it. It was getting dark and it was really underexposed.
I think I finally have it looking good after many attempts. I have it printed on a cotton rag paper and it looks so awesome! One of my favorites.

This is stunning it makes me think of a paining with the way the clouds are hanging onto the mountains and the orange wash in the sky

Thanks a lot Rich! I use 4 different computers at different times and pictures look different on all of them. Its so hard to know. I have a huey for my x64 and LCD. I still find it hard to trust. My monitor has something about it where it seems nothing looks over saturated. It scares me cause that's mine. I've looked at some of my edits on one of the laptops and most look terrible.
I guess I just keep doing it. I'll rely on others to tell me like you did. I will desaturate a bit.
I'd really like to try some filters sometime. A lot of people use them for landscapes and they help a lot.
I really had to add a lot of exposure to this.

Well on this particular one its the sky that seems "unreal/unatural looking"...the rest looks fine. This is why CRT monitors really were the best for viewing and checking our work. They gave off one look 24/7. LCD monitors change with the slightest turn of our heads or the smallest sift in available room light.

Yeah I know. LCD is my worst nightmare. Sometimes I will print one and see that its over saturated and I take some out. Eventually they will all be OK. At least I see it before it goes so can re do
