Hehe! Well I put them in the photo on purpose
But you would need to go down over the cliff to reach them
Its several hundred feet down
This was just a short walk to the mailbox from our house

ok and that'd be a fun fall lol jk
...it drives me crazy in Ontario they build 'look-outs' overlooking full cities, and natural areas but then have trees blocking the whole view.

Yeah its like that here too Andrew. If you get back to see the trees are in the way. You have to drive a hundred miles to get a mountain in one shot
And people say to me why do I crop the tops of the mountains. Hehe! Well I already took 4 layers of panoramas to get what I got A lot of times I night have had another row but may have missed a piece too and had to crop a whole row out.
Oh how I long for a wide angle

haha yep, gotta love the city planners in our nation
and ya wide angles are nice; just extremely expensive to get the good L-series ones, but worth every penny of it

Someday.

yeah..it's good to have long-term goals, when it comes to everything, including equipment...my next investments will probably be the Canon 75-200 f/2.8 plus 2x extender, then a good video camera for that course next year if i get in, and probably when i join the army get the Canon 1D MKVI...all very expensive but well worth it for sports/photojournalism/street/military photography.

Yes its great to build up a good supply of equipment if you can.
It never hurts to have more than 1 camera. I wish a lot of times I had at least 2.

agreed, i have 2 camera bodies the 50D and Rebel XSI...even though the XSI is a crappy camera its nice to have to i can have my 16-35 wide angle on the 50d and my 25-105 on the rebel...makes it nice not having to switch lenses constantly a lot easier plus less risk of damaging a lens or sensor.
now i just need a good telephoto then use it instead of 24-105 ...and id rather wait and get the better L-series telephoto then buy a crappier one and want to upgrade in a year.

Yeah, I hate changing lenses
9 times out of 10 a little spec will get in. Even if you don't always see it for a while.
It takes way too much time too. Always the wrong one happens to be on when something comes up.
