yea.. just shows that maybe we should upload just about anything ? or ... we just suit ourselves. A photographer friend told me a while back that one should only show the images that are good and never let anyone see the "failures" in order to maintain a status quo, but its hard to decide what is a "failure" and what isnt. Someones "failure" is another persons DD lol. xx

That's very true. We can and should never judge our own work.
I bet I have sold way more pictures that I don't even like than ones that I do.
The only reason I have them is because they are old and they were my best at one time. Now I don't even like them at all and someone will pick one every time. I don't get it.

I find the appeal for me of HDR is when its used like this. Less is more.

Although I've done some HDR most of my work isn't.
I actually just play around with exposure and color till I get what I'm looking for and I can't always get it either.
I could see where this might look good in large print in a hotel lobby or something.
Someday I might be in a better position to try it. Right now I don't even have a place to hang it and I think it needs to be big to show the detail.

Yes I think it cries out for largeness. But how large? I think a 16 X 20 or so would be quite manageable. It don't have to be in a lobby, although that would be great for exposure alone, I honestly can say that many could live with this photograph in their living room for many years. This is not and HDR?

Hehe! Yeah I found I was a little too busy to be trying to figure if it was HDR. I had a lot of folders. I only have a few now. To be as respectful as I'd like to be I should still have lots but it takes more time and that's more valuable to me now that I'm panicking
