Now on to stage 3. Now, I have moved on to draw some more of the dark areas in the body, arms and legs. Details and subtle shadows are added to the face and upper torso. The dark shadows in the face and hair are further darkened to close to what they will be in the final version (about 75%).

Note also the pencil signature at the bottom. This is because I knew I would be working my signature into the drawing and had to plan accordingly.

Also in this picture is the quill pen and india ink used in doing this drawing. No other tools were used, other than a mechanical pencil.
