Β The more the dark Prince grew, the more he looked less and less like the evil King Scar. His pelt was darker, his mane was brown, his muzzle wasn't crooked, and he seemed capable of being kind. He treated Kiara like she was his Queen, even though they were not ready to take over the lands. Kiara was absolutely smitten with Kovu, just like she was when they first met as cubs. Unfortunately, she wasn't the only one.Her best friends, Zuri and Tiifu, were the same age as the two and ripe for the picking. Zuri was bold and sassy, and knew how to shut anyone up. Tiifu was always such a shy thing, and wouldn't dare go behind Kiara's back. Not on her own, at least...
It wasn't that Kovu didn't love Kiara. He had nearly no selection of young lionesses when he first met Kiara in his own pride, and so she was beautiful in every way, even if she was a little rowdy. When Simba accepted his pride into the Pridelands, things changed for Kovu. With age, he started to notice Kiara's friends, too. Sure, they still slept together and he devoted his time to her, but on the side he secretly had eyes for the girls.
He often talked to them, trying to impress the two with his bulky build and now fully grown mane. There was just such a charm that radiated from the young adult; he was impossible to resist. They had noticed how strong and attractive he was before, but now he frequently approached them after a hunt to congratulate or wish better luck. Kiara thought it was great that her future husband and best friends were getting along and focused time towards learning to be Queen.
Zuri was not so impressed, but the shy Tiifu was thrilled that such an impressive male noticed her. She felt like she was as important as Kiara when he spoke so fondly to her. With time, things would expand...Β
This was kind of a vent and a story line to go with it. I was recently broken up with by Majira, and I learned that she and our best friend, Shupa, had gone behind my back. I was cheated on. I felt like I needed to justify something to myself, that it wasn't my fault or something. First time drawing Zuri and Tiifu.

I'm sorry that, that happened too you. People are jackasses, and never ever think of how their actions will affect others. I'm really sorry. Hopefully everything is going well for you. But on the note of the drawing, I love this picture and the idea behind it, despite the origin for the pic. I would love to see this as a comic, it's a very interesting idea.

Things are much better, thanks! I moved schools to get the education I feel she held me back from, I'm doing well. Shupa and I have been attempting to patch things up, but I won't speak to Majira even if she wanted to (she doesn't, she likes to pretend I never existed).
I may entertain that idea as a short comic, or just a short comic of my personal story between Lee and Majira.

You could always combine the two, if that makes sense? Like draw upon your experience while putting it in to the Kovu and Kiara idea. Either way I know it will be awesome!!
