Artist's Note:
For the unmasking (top panel), the original idea was for her mouth to open wide, then have the symbiote retract like a hoodie to reveal her face.
But I ran into some problems with this idea in the drafting stage:
-Wouldn't her human mouth be visible when the symbiote normally opens her mouth? If not, there must be a transition between the symbiote mouth and the human mouth.
-The symbiote's face profile (noseless) is different from Maeve's human face, so a simple unhooding can't resolve the difference.
-I did try drawing the face profile appearing from the open mouth, but it looked like the symbiote regurgitating a skull. Blergh XD
-So, the end result is what you see here, human mouth reformed under symbiote's jaw, while the goo retracts from the forehead. The stuck-out tongue is to "anchor" the view point while the rest of the face changes.

Mid panels looked good enough without borders, so I let them be.
Really liked the ")-(" expression.

Didn't plan how Maeve's symbiote rear view looked like last time in her Profile pic. Likely to be a mass of lighter tentacles coming out from the small of her back.
