So yeah, more head canon!
So I'm moving the main story from egg to live birth, because of popular demand as well as personal thoughts.
To make sense of the sudden change, Sky and Comet unfortunately find out that the foal that was growing in the egg had not made it after an unfortunate heart-failure during the foal's development. (And note that this may not be canon, it's just a temporary explanation and could change soon)
In this picture, Sky is about eight months pregnant and is very tired from carrying their baby foal around. Comet, who has been excited for their new baby girl (or filly in pony terms), takes a day off as Sky approaches her due date.

Sky: Dear, I think the baby is kicking...
Comet: Does it hurt?
Sky:...No... Would you like to feel it?..
Comet: Are you sure?...
Sky: Go ahead. *Places Comet's hoof on her belly*
Comet: *Feels the baby moving, sheds a tear*
Sky: Our baby is alive... *Smiles and embraces her husband*
Comet: Only two more weeks... Two more weeks dear...
Sky: *Cuddles closer to her husband*

That's like, the opposite of what I do. I name them, build what they look like, and then contemplate what they'd be good at. None of my oc's names have anything to do with their talent. XD
I've always liked the name Lillianna. That has nothing to do with anything, lol. Just personal preference.

People have different ways of doing somethings~
With naming, I try to add at least some meaning to it hinting at the personality or what the pony does or so, if the name doesn't have a meaning then it's most likely a Persona or so for me XD
