...Yet so far.A mother orca desperately tries to reach her calf. Unfortunately, however, the calf has died. The whales will cry tonight.
An idea that has been lingering in my head for a long while now, so I finally decided to bring it to life.
All orca pics used as reference were found on google, so they are (c) to their respective owners.

Oh, that's such a powerful picture. Depressing, but powerful. It's like seeing a mother dolphin trying to push her still born calf up the surface. It's always so horrible to see something so young die. But, that's how life is. There's one song from a CD called "Angels of the Sea" that always reminds me of a mother dolphin mourning the death of her calf. Always a very emotional song, especially with the dolphin clicks in there too. Great CD, I highly suggest it. But, wonderful job on this picture. You really can see how upset the mother is..

It really is an awesome CD. I always listen to it when I'm having a bad day and it really helps to calm me down. The waves, the piano, and the sounds of dolphins. Who could ask for more? Hehe
