Just an orca.Im finding it hard to draw pictures lately as my computer likes to randomly (and frequently) uninstall my tablet while im using it...for no reason. Stupid computer.

Just add a gradient to the water, and you should get a nice underwater feel. Also, colours can change underwater. Like, whites change to bluish tones. Thats how I get my 'underwater' feel

Stunning work! The detail is amazing, i love the shading, and the colors, and the pose is perfect, it looks so real. I also really love the orcas in the background, very subtle, but really help to make the picture something special.

I have the same problem with my tablet! I blame it on windows. I had an mp3 player that was working fine with my computer, without drivers, then one day my computer decides it NEEDS a driver (it doesn't, cause it worked before that) and I had to look for hours online to find the driver.
But yeah, amazing work! I love your whole gallery to death. xD

Yeah, stupid windows. But I downloaded a new driver for my tablet and now it seems to be working fine. It hasn't uninstalled itself for a while, which is a relief. And thankyou very much!

The water was just a gradient, if I remember correctly. Then with another layer on top of it with the white light going, and shading underneath the orca. Thanks!

Awesome !! I love how you painted other orcas in the background. I didn't first even see them, but when I watched the pic again, they jumped out. And the light coming from the top, it's done greatly! It really looks like what it would be in the water.

As everyone else has said, beautiful orca and excellent water effects and shading. If I may say something (though I have no idea how you could fix it or even if you want to) the orcas in the background, though cool and subtle, look flat. But I don't know how you could fix that though...possibly shade them as well?

I did think about shading them, but my idea was to make the image look as simple as possible. The 'fish' are done in the same way as the other orcas...I think next picture I do, I will definately put a "proper' background with it, becuase I am so slack with them
