Thank you! This was an early work and has some mistakes. The shape is not quit right on the blade for one thing.

Yeah, I know. I still have the first sword I ever forged. It was a middle-eastern inspired saber that ended up with to much of a curve. It has some wavers in it, and when I bring it up for a downward slash it pokes me in the back. I keep it around to remind me of ware I was in my craft at that time. I will see about posting some pictures of the saber later on.

Sweet you made a Sword if i was you i'd hang it on the wall as thats not something many people ca claim.
Ouch sounds more like a Swinging sword than a slashing sword if it's tip pokes you in the back.
Could you post a pic of it.

The sword is hanging on the wall in my bedroom. When I have some more time off I will dust it off and snap some pictures. Keep in mind it was my first attempt at forging a saber.

I have a few wall-hanger in my collection. Last time I counted, I have 10 swords and a few knives and short-swords hanging on my bedroom walls. Some are 'wall-hangers', others are martial art form swords, and a couple combat ready swords. And or course my first attempt at a saber, 'Backscratcher'. Some more are stashed in the corner, waiting for me to hang them up.

After cleaning them up I think I will get some pictures, and to torment you I just might post them! I also have a couple of odd finished projects to take pictures of.
