love the setup. have been using these icons (+ a couple custom ones) myself for some time.
quick question though: did you have to do anything to get the battery percentage and time&date stamp in the menu bar to change from black font color to grey or did it just work like that. because I installed the obsidian menubar and the battery percentage and time&date are still black font and therefore "invisible" black space in the menu bar (unless I click on either). (thanks in advance for any help)

There is a folder in the Obsidian Menubar download called Goodies that has a file called WhiteUIServer.menu in it that you'll need to use to make your clock/battery text white.
Just put it in a folder somewhere safe and set it as Login Item in your System Preferences/Users & Groups settings.

I LOVE the look of your desktop. Great work! What program are you using to theme the menu bar and finder icons?

You can get the black menubar from here: www.maxrudberg.com
And I use LiteIcon to theme my icons: www.freemacsoft.net/liteicon/

2 things, I know it may not be novice things but I like to fiddle around my computer.
1.- How did you get your iTunes music on the bottom left corner?
2.- Will you be offering a tutorial/alternative to program the clock?
Many thanks, I really loved your theme.

With GeekTool:Β projects.tynsoe.org/en/geektooβ¦
It takes some fiddling with and to set it up though, it's not really something for the novice user.

Most of the icons are from here: fav.me/d69mme1
A few of the icons like iCloud, Rdio, YouTube and VLC are custom icons I made for myself.
If you want any of those I can upload them.
