Description
Here is how to make an alot, a lovely creature from the blog Hyperbole and a Half: [link]Remember, the word "alot" does not mean "many" (that's "a lot"). The word alot means this creature! And it makes a lovely fluffy friend.
This pattern is kind of rough, so edges may not line up exactly. But it's a simple and fluffy stuffed animal, so it doesn't matter too much.
You will need: Fuzzy fabric of your choice, thread and a needle or a sewing machine, stuffing of your choice, safety eyes/googly eyes, felt, and some fabric glue.
Enjoy making fuzzy friends!
The Alot Monster is copyright 2009 to Allie Brosh, and this is a fan-work, created with the utmost respect and adoration of the creator of alots. I'm sure Allie would appreciate it if you don't sell any alots that you make.

So after stuffing, I hand sew it shut right? I know. Stupid question. Just making sure if there is or isn't some special technique I don't know about...

Ack, sorry I didn't mention it in the tutorial! Yes, hand-sew it shut, using any stitch that you figure appropriate (the fur will hide uneven stitches) or use a ladder-stitch. Find easy tutorials on Google. It's ideal for closing up stuffed animals.

I should practice sewing and then make this for my sister's birthday in a few months. She'll laugh her skin off.
