Still on my vaporwave train. And so far I'm not planning on getting off, not just yet at least. I painted this character one year ago, so I wanted to try and go at her portrait again, and do her justice.

Marines in the Halo universe, Spartans particularly, are viewed as the pinnicle of human preformance. Unfeeling and uncompromising. Like a perfect greek bust, that's been broken. Its beauty and perfection are not compromised, however our Spartans are not a perfect statue, they are living, feeling, and human.
