Description
Speed paint commission for =dracoticcannibal with the request of a curious and fleeting encounter between Tropicus and Sardiryx. C:Aimed for a little more natural lighting atmosphere.
I would have had this all painted yesterday but I had to take care of a few things (one of which was attending the local Veteran's Day Parade and thank my beloved soldiers <3).
Tools: Photoshop CS, Wacom Intuos 3
Time: Idea scribbled out two days ago in a few minutes, fully painted today in about two hours. I'm getting slow with these. XC

This is spectacular Sardi! You've captured exactly the idea I had in mind, and although you didn't add any scales to Tropicus, it still looks great! I do envision the cheek area to be a little different than depicted, but it all works together so well! I'm so pleased to have commissioned you, and I thank you again! I'm also getting a kick out of all the "Ohghodwhatisthat?!" comments, haha.

i like this a lot, very cute, comfortable composition, but i find it kind of weird that all the streams of water are falling precisely along the back of the one dragon. its distracting and doesnt make sense

its just that all of the streams are falling exactly along his spine, i'm only saying change one or two of them. its a distracting coincidence; messes with suspension of disbelief

Keep in mind it's just a speed paint and will not be perfect by any means. I'm sorry you feel the way you do. :>

doesnt matter how i feel. i'm just trying to help you out. its an easy fix, its not going to be perfect afterwards, but its the only glaring problem in the image. i can understand if you dont want to work on it more and to move on, but it being a speedpaint isnt an excuse.

My sketch commissions aren't available for edits, I'm afraid. I don't have that kind of time, simply put. The issue is extremely minor at best and I do appreciate the critique, but I cannot and will not act on it if I had the means to do so.
