Behind the Scenes: While half way through with applying the initial shading, I accidentally saved over the large format version with the 1440p version you see here. Whoops! Needless to say the shading would have turned out much differently had I not made that error, but I moseyed on as best I could and am satisfied with it regardless. I hope you guys like it, too! :>

This is the size it was originally going to be resized to! I wanted to make it a 1440p reference so it fits perfectly on the [quickly becoming] current average household monitor screen resolution.
I can't wait to have Seraphis's ref done, either! She's going to be beautiful in all her white gold and crimson glory. ^v^

Amazing refsheet there Sardy I especially enjoy the front view. The tail blade image and the shape of his head and neck in the fire breathing image. Also very neat coloring work here. I don't feel like it's overdone at all.

Good Golly Gosh all these details are amazing! I love how you dont isolate each image in its own little box (cutting them off within the lines) It really gives depth to the ref and makes it seem more interactive c:

It's pretty much become a staple for my refs ever since I started making little hints of detail image overlap in 2010 (Vreyin's ref). Overtime the details just seem to develop a life of their own.

This has been the best ref sheets I've ever seen and it's been worth the wait, I knew you could do him justice.
The level of detail leaves me breathless every time I see it, and the love and time you've put into it shows.
I love the pose of him standing, so regal and majestic , as well as his happy face in the portrait , you have such talent for anatomy!
It doesn't matter if the size isn't bigger, I enjoy it the same, and everyone else surely does too.
Your style improved so much and that makes me happy to have waited haha.

Oh he is beautiful, and there is so much detail and obviously time and effort put into this. It's amazing. Your work never ceases to amaze me. Especially with you accidentally saving over the larger image, it is still so very beautiful.
Though it doesn't hurt blue is my favorite color. This fellow is truly candy for the eyes.

Now that I got that out of my system, like damn girl your refs sheets have evolved onto a whole new level of detail that I didn't think was possible. I'm not sure what changed, the way you do you line weight, the level of line detail, the coloring, your use of textures, maybe all of the above??? Whatever it is it clearly shows in your more recent work. Seriously beautiful stuff as always. :3
