I think the reason why we don't pay much attention is because we humans see other humans every day. So seeing an alien species (or drawing them) gives a different and almost rewarding/relief feeling...or I'm just over analyzing

Yes but still ... I mean, we're supposed to engage in intimate relations for the sake of procreation. And I never found that interesting either.
But we humans have always found the strange and exotic both scary and fascinating. I guess it is in our nature.

We really need more diversity, people need to start thinking for themselves and not just do what everyone else does. That is probably what inspires evolvement of new ideas and ideals, don't you think so?

Lol, that's because I've never drawn humans in my life. Honestly ... our species never seemed that interesting to me so I was always focusing my attention on animals. Phew, this chapter was quite a nightmare because of that.

I got so used to drawing creatures and monsters that when I recently decided to draw humanoids again recently, I was disturbed at how bad it'd gotten. Hahaha
