Description
One point I feel I should make is I grew up with Sonic. He was the first computer game I ever played and is one of my earliest childhood characters. I had a Sonic plushi when I was young and I love him still.When it comes down to it Sonic is a good guy. He doesn't love Amy in the way she wants him to but that doesn't mean he doesn't love her at all. He has gone through hell for her and always trys to keep her safe whatever happens.
So I will not be dragging him through the mud for this pairing. Amy doesn't need to hate Sonic to love Shadow, she just needs to get over how she feels for Sonic and see him for what he is. A good friend whose always looking out for her and will be there to support her when she needs him.
Sonic will remain a hero in this. (For all those who were hoping for some Sonic pain, don't worry, he'll be used as a punchline yet. Don't worry.)
Art wise, I drew Amy in a new outfit because I wanted to show she's changing and doesn't want to backslide. The background colour is trying to show the emotions following around. Oh and Sonic is a pain to try and draw from a three quater angle from the back.

I like the idea because he just didn't get it. He, unlike some, wasn't trying to be mean.

I never though Sonic was mean to Amy. Just not interested in romance. But I don't tend to do mean guys unless they're due a short, sharp lesson.

It just feels bad when you are the girl. Have you seen the new Loony Tunes? It's hilarious. Well, Lola is in love with Bugs but he doesn't like her and is kind of mean, but she doesn't see it. Gosh, sound familiar? I wonder if I am that bad?

I have seen the new Looney Toons. Or, rather, I saw half of the first episode and then I couldn't watch it. It wasn't so much Bugs not likeing Lola, I could deal with that. But... Lola is just tragic. Its almost like she has serious mental health issues and they were mocking that. She needed help not people laughing at her pain. She just wanted to be loved and while she was going about it COMPLETELY the wrong way I just felt that Bugs should have taken her by the hand and lead her to the Mental Hospital for despretly needed help. I've never felt compelled to give a cartoon bunny a hug before, not even when Bugs did his puppy dog eyes. But with Lola I fell like she not only needs it but should be perscribed it. Maybe I should give it another chance but I do hope Lola improves.
Trust me, you are nothing like Lola or Amy. You knew when to stake a step back and you respected the boundaries you were shown. That takes emotional strength and logic neither of which are possed by Amy or Lola.

Well, I love the show. Lola isn't on that often and really they are all "Loony". But you know it's all what you take from it. I prefer the Daffy/Bugs odd couple that have going on. It's great.

Hm. Maybe I'll give it another go. It was the first episode after all so maybe it will get better and I must admit I always liked the old cartoons when Daffy and Bugs were together. They made a great double act!
