Description
x_x This is not a "how to paint where and what on a face" tutorial.This is also an alternate method to my other skin tutorial .
To be used when you're not trying to make something too real.
Since I'm a bad person and left out alot of things, feel free to ask any questions. =x

It gets rid of the white background of it, if you like, copied the sketch from the tutorial to practice. XD;

haha but then I'd have a hundred faces.
I only want one.
I get really mad at photoshop when it starts spazzing and giving wrong colors
so it takes me forever to color stuff

awesome... useful tutorial btw
I got some questions though, hope you don't mind
Did you use photo reference for picking color? 'cause I could never seem to pick the right color most of times >.<
And how many months or years have you been studying to paint like this? It seems taking years for me to get as awesome like you T.T

sleckt In reply to Aede-chan [2007-08-16 02:09:14 +0000 UTC]
Haha, you don't need reference for color picking, since you're not actually drawing a real human.
If you looked at my other tutorial, you would see how I said, "what colors you pick do not matter", since you can change it later anyway. XD;

Now everything makes sense...
You take your power from the wham wham wham..wham noises!
xD I gotta try that...it's so fun to say.
*-* I love the flow instead of opacity chance tip. I never quite figured the difference, so I used to just change the opacity all the time. xD
Thank you for the tutorial ^^

Haha, you can change opacity if you like. It's just that I find it's more versatile if you haven't, since you can still get the original color back.

RivumAsh In reply to sleckt [2007-08-16 12:47:37 +0000 UTC]
I sold it *cries* but it didn't work with my computer and it was 12x9. I am thinking of getting a Genius MousePen 8X6, but I really want a wacom. I was looking at the Wacom Graphire4 4x5, however they seem kind of small. I would step it up to a Wacom Graphire4 6x8, but that is $145, and I just don't know it I want to spend that right now. XD need to save for Another Anime Con this October.
gha okay sorry for ranting....
I guess I just need to ask around and ask if Wacoms are worth it, even that small.
