That almost looks Rex. Still, this is a good picture.

"When I was young and green..." I remember Gordon saying that. I'll tell you. I always saw Bert as a smaller, quieter, and perhaps happier version of Gordon. Whenever Bert smiles, it puts a smile on my face too. Bert is undoubtedly my most favorite engine of the Arlesdale Railway.

Hah well spotted, but the line is still true for Bert it seemsΒ Β I know what you mean though, hence my little joke about using Henry, Gordon and James's faces in my Hodges edit of the 15" engine outside their shed. I like all of the close nit trio, particularly when they're bouncing off each other in conversation but I think Rex is my personal fave-mostly because of his tendency to show off his worldliness. Β
Anyway glad you like it-it took a little bit of work to blow it up in size but I much prefer this cheerful guppy face over the original Sticking-Power one I had transplanted onto the smokebox when I attempted an edit on SiF sometime back as it never suited the above painting.Β

Rex is definitely my favourite with Bert a close second.

I can kinda see now why passengers sometimes mistook him for Mike when he was "young and green". This, by the way, is a stunning pic as ever Sleeper; top job.

Aye if you don't note the external cylinder pipes it can be quite easy and I actually caught myself out with River Esk when making a pre-Sodor edit some time back Β Β
Cheers about the above I'm actually planning to carry on with the AR theme for the sec so expect to see a second attempt of a Yore Railway edit of Rex next week once a certain e-bay item arrives.

Oopsie. Ah well, we all make mistakes sometimes; but that's the thing we learn from them.
You're very welcome. I'm quite looking forward to seeing the a second Yore Railway edit of Rex.

Rolf, I do intend to make a Muriel type edit of Bert at some point as i've got a final form one part done to complement his RWS state but I might wait a bit to see if the AR engines will be appearing in any more eps, as the more face shots that are out there the more variety I have to choose from (I don't tend to keep tabs on announcements of the show but I hope they get a few stories to themselves now that they've been designed on the computer).Β
