Not finished, but I decided to drop it.Anyway, I still like the concept
He's supposed to be wearing medals on his left shoulder pad and collecting money in the tin can in his hand.
And the guys walking around are supposedly Protoss.
I prefer the original marine design.

I agree with you, the first marine design was better. But let's see what the gameplay looks like ! I heard that the game was so enormous, they had to dispatch it on three unique games, one for each campaign, in order not to delay itβ¦
But what is he exactly doing on a Protoss world ? Is he some kind of an immigrate, or did he loose a battle ?
Anyways, the colours are great, but maybve too dark for a Protoss world, don't you find ?

The idea was post war - some protoss, some terran.. you know, peace and shit. The aftermath of SC, with the veterans from the war still hanging around.

The Marines do definitely inspire, I haven't seen the new design in SC2.
