I have FINALLY managed to get a picture of this and post it for all of you to see!About the Character
This is Deadpool (obviously) from Cable & Deadpool #50 (the final issue of the series), when he gets infected with the symbiote.
I've loved deadpool since his first issue in 1998 when my Dad picked it up for my brother. I was only four and could really only look at the pretty pictures, but I loved him from the moment I saw him! I still have that issue along with 50 or 60 other ones! It's actually a Deadpool #1 first print collector's edition
He really is one of the best comic book characters ever to grace the medium. He has such an amazing design, as well as a completely unique personality that I don't think any other comic book character has. I mean, the only comic book character I could really think to compare him to is Spider-man, but as you know, he doesn't even come close to similar to Deadpool.
About the Drawing
This took about 6-7 hours, quite a bit longer than most of the drawings I've done, but I think it's worth it because it's one of the best ones I've drawn so far. Suprisingly, I've had an endless amount of patience when I was drawing this; I assume that's just because I love him so much. I can't believe that I've loved him since 1998, but i haven't drawn him until now!
Materials used: Mostly a mechanical pencil (.7) and a Ticonderoga #2 pencil. Eraser.

Awwww, thank you so much! I added the text on a whim. I just thought "something's missing" and I added that. I like it. It also helps to get the point across that this is not Carnage. Geez, that would've been irritating if someone commented that. And thank you, also, for your comment about the shading. I think this is my best drawing yet! Have you seen the colored version yet? Sorry it took so long to reply. I'm fighting the flu and I was bombarded with messages and my friends mom just died, so you can say it's been a busy week...

The black is so...black. Did u darken the pic on ur comp after u scanned it?

Nope. I just used a mechanical pencil and went over it like crazy so that after i was done it was really dark. I made sure to get a picture with absolutely no glare which really helped.

Ah. Because I use a scanner and it REALLY lightens up the pencil. D:

Yeah, too much light exposure can really screw up the image. That's why i prefer using a camera. It's a lot easier to control the lighting and glare than using a scanner is. It's also a lot more effort, but it's worth it in the end.

Thank you so much! The shading was a blast! I loved coloring the eyes such a dark black. It's not something I ever get to do with my realistic drawings very often! The details...well, lets just say they weren't as fun, but I'm glad I did all those little lines and other details. It really adds a lot to the piece,i think. Thanks again!

to bad the symbiote(not the Original but a Massproduction-model made by Doc Doom)
couldn't handle Deadpool's "unique" Brain, melting of his face after 5 pages or so

Well, actually, in this issue it ended up taking him over, because it knew that his healing factor allowed him to live forever, but Cable sent him a spear from the future that killed the symbiote. Deadpool took that pupppy and stabbed himself in the head after just a few panels (somehow managing to still mouth off in the process haha). Too bad it didn't last longer, he looked sweet!
