Yay another drawing! This one took like 5 hours maybe 6 I don't know. It was difficult. And after all that time it's still garbage D:The scales by the dragon's nostrils are messed up, the guy's hair is messed up, the tree is a giant debacle LOL I don't ever want to try to draw a dead tree again. If there's anything else you think can be improved, let me know! Comments are my favorite. If you wanna give me critique or just say you like it or something let me know!
This is supposed to be the part in the "One Last Chance" story when Alex encounters Feuer, he's obviously quite scared. But it's okay, Feuer means no harm to him.

Thanks! I'm not really proud of this one (damn tree...) but the compliment does make me feel a bit better about it

In fact, I am really busy these days xD but I will try to read when I have time. I also like to write. I am writing a science fiction history, but in spanish. I would like to have more time to write! Beacuse it makes me feel good, like drawing.

I saw your comment on the /r/askreddit thread and wanted to add some critique since you asked for it (although I kinda suck at drawing too). I'll try to read your story at some point also.
Anyways, I really like the attention to detail on the scales. Yes, they're small, but in my opinion, the smaller, the better. You're really good at details. Since you've got that down, I think you should work on some shading to add depth. The inner legs are 'darker' than the outer legs because they're underneath his body (and blocked from the sun). His horns should have some shading at the base and on the sides. Google "shading a cylinder" and you'll see what I mean. I really like the dragon though and he looks really good. I can't really give you any tips on the person because I am TERRIBLE at drawing people. People are actually the hardest to draw because of their proportions (from what I heard, anyways). You can probably youtube some tutorials for drawing people. There are certain circles/lines that you can draw to get the faces right.
Once you get the shading and stuff down, then you can work on perspective and have angles. Adding some trees in the distance or a stream nearby.

I'll take this to heart the next time I try drawing, but that probably won't be until summer. College has me kind of busy, and I like to spend the free time I have either hanging out with friends or playing video games. When I was on break, I had even more free time so I tried drawing.
People are definitely hard xD Also, that tree pissed me off so much. I think trees are harder than people. I spent like an hour trying to fix the monstrosity on my paper before just giving up with a pathetic excuse of a tree in the background haha

Haha, I totally understand on the time. I work full-time and go to college full-time. And I usually spend my free time playing video games too, lol. Yeah, trees are hard for me too. I don't usually draw them. I am drawing some right now in a sketch I'm doing. It's hard to stare at it and not know what to do, lol. I just started drawing lines in for the bark and left it at that. Used youtube to help brainstorm that idea. Good luck though, you have great potential! Just keep practicing when you can. Sometimes it's good to take a break too or else you'll just drive yourself crazy by looking at it too long and not being able to draw something you like!
