Aaaahhh! A shy guy gho– I mean… a shy ghost!?
This deviation was done as part of the Drawtober event hosted by team and is #DrawtoberPart1 – the first of three!

This image was done, cozily in bed, as a speedpainting in roughly 1h with some extra time afterwards for some quick'n'dirty polishing.
The topic of day 1 was spooky, so I (nearly) instantly had to think of this wholesome fella!
And yes, proudly outing myself as a Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island fan with this here, as that's the portrayal of Shy Guy ghosts that you can see in this game.
This was one the games of my childhood, back on SNES, that I always liked to go back to. Good times!
If you never tried it, give it a shot! It's one of the most wholesome games I played with a gorgeous artstyle that didn't age much and a pretty weird albeit heartwarming humour.
As if one were to play a good night tale…
