Honestly, I wanted a lot of things to tell you about your words about "Russian imperialism" and the government, which "wants" Donetsk and Crimea (although problems with his "acquisition" came more than good, in my opinion), but then I remembered that Russia occupied Ukraine and generally preparing a plot against the United States (sarcasm 80 lvl) and decided to just cut a little bit what I wanted to say ^^

I am sorry to say, buts its deeper than that even if they leave ukraine there will be a repeat similar to this somewhere else. The problem is no one obey the rulers they put together. Just look at all the historical documents and deals one side or the other completely ignored.
When there are no rulers then everyone does what they want. Following the rulers that are practical to them at that moment, and so you get this and many other situations.

I understand what you mean, and you make a good point.
However, there is no way that any group of people will willingly play ball and obey an outside influence immediately after getting rid of their corrupt leaders.
It's been about a year since Viktor Yanukovych and some of his colleagues have fled the country (heading to Russia), and they'll never be extradited back, to Ukraine or The Hague or anywhere else.

The leaders in the west and in Russia are pathetic. They only pretend to care about Ukraine, but in reality, all they care about are what they can get out of this war.
As I write this, approximately 5000 people have been killed in Ukraine (and the Crimea region) since last winter.
