Description
Important things not included in the ref:

- Raiden is what is called a "Felifawn", an original species designed by my very good friend ForRealDoe . She has not released any information about them yet but, as you can probably tell, they are a mixture of cats and deer of varying type. Her fursona Delsey is an example of the species, Delsey being a King Cheetah x White-tailed Deer, you've seen her in some of my work, usually with Gyro who is NOT a Felifawn, he is just a carnivorous deer. But Delsey and Raiden here are Felifawns. Raiden specifically is a cross between an Alaskan Caribou and a Canadian Lynx.

- His name, Raiden, is not a mistake. Instead it refers to some magical powers that he has. Specifically, he controls electricity and can channel and cast lightning bolts. He can also electrify parts of his body, usually his antlers or teeth, sometimes his claws, doing much more damage during a fight. He can also gather lightning into a ball between his antlers that he can then throw at enemies by whipping his head. It takes him a minute to wrestle the electricity into a ball shape, and once he lets it go, it moves kind of slowly. But those who are not ready for it can be blown into ludicrous giblets by it, and he can change the size of said ball depending on who he is fighting. If given enough time, he could theoretically gather enough energy for a lightning ball large enough to destroy the planet. Obviously, he would never do such a thing but it is a testament to his power.

- Being part deer, he is also really fast, just on a realistic level. He is more about speed and agility than he is about physical brute strength, even though he is pretty powerful with a really strong neck holding up some massive antlers. He can flip cars with those antlers. But his fighting style is more evasive than it is about bold charges and blind rage. He's fast and crafty, but has not yet figured out how to use his lightning powers to increase his mobility. He's not even sure if it is possible but he tries anyway.

- You'll notice that he looks different from drawing to drawing. It's important to note that, like white-tailed deer and other deer species, Caribou shed their antlers. While I do not think most Felifawns shed their antlers (would have to ask my friend for the details of that), Raiden just... does. His lightning powers damage them over time so in the spring they fall off, and slowly grow back over the summer months. By Winter, they are back to being huge and thick, the edges rounded and bulbous, the structure solid. He also grows a longer coat in Autumn, turning fluffy to a ridiculous degree and sporting thick black feathering on his paws by the time Winter arrives. He then sheds this ridiculously thick coat in the Spring, sporting a short and smooth Summer coat. Generally, I consider his Winter appearance to be his "standard" look, but feel free to play with it. Obviously, because they are growing back at the time, his antlers are often significantly smaller when his coat is shorter, which makes him much easier to draw so... I get it. x3

- The size of his antlers does not affect his powers at all. He can still use them to gather lightning and to hook and throw his enemies.

- Obviously, being half lynx, he has feline dentition, as well as big fuzzy lynx paws and stubby lynx tail.

- His spots are random, go nuts with that.

- He is the leader of a herd of normal Caribou, as they raised him from a very young age. No one knows what happened to his parents but he still grew up well despite this. He was born with his powers over electricity so no one was stupid enough to make fun of his odd appearance. Especially once he hit puberty. He is a MASSIVE caribou creature, many inches taller than your average caribou and also much heavier and just overall physically stronger and generally faster. Making him their leader, their guardian, was only natural as no mortal caribou could compete with his size, strength and powers.

- He is chill and generous when at peace, a little bit cheeky with a dumb but somewhat charming sense of humor, playful and charismatic. However, if any of his herdmates is put in danger in any way, he has no mercy. He becomes vicious, cruel and single-minded, tunnel-visioned on that threat and will chase hunters and predators to the edge of the planet if it will keep his herdmates safe and sound. This also extends to his friends made outside of the herd, and really anyone that he considers to be good and just. He also is hella protective of children of any species, having no tolerance for the disgusting creatures that prey on the defenseless and innocent. Despite this, he does not like to kill, and usually finds other creative ways to get rid of threats, but sometimes he gets caught in the moment and just does not have that kind of wherewithal needed to think before acting. But this is usually only when the attack is fast or unexpected, or if the threat is against someone specifically important to him. On a whim, he is cruel and vicious and unforgiving. But, given time to think and plan, he prefers peace over violence if it can be helped.

- He mostly eats fish as he does not like to hunt, it's a conflict of interests with him living among deer creatures. He will sometimes scavenge corpses killed by other animals, but even then he usually cannot bring himself to eat deer of any kind. Generally, he fishes. He is an excellent swimmer and he can use his powers to kill fish en masse if he is really hungry.

- He is not a fursona, but he is kind of me as this fictional species. So not my fursona in name only. x3

- Oh he has gray eyebrows from time to time. His eyebrows are smooth in the summer and only become scruffy as he grows out his winter coat. Similarly, you'll notice that he does not have feathers on his feet during the summer, they grow in with the rest of his coat.

This was SO MUCH WORK OMG, I am tired of looking at it. I love this character so much, designed by my dear friend ForRealDoe a member of her own original species. She did such an excellent job this huge ass ref seemed like a good idea at the beginning. I learned to regret it though, I am so done with it.
