Description Okay, so I’ve been meaning to redraw these girls’ dresses for quite some time (especially Normandie), and I finally got around to doing it! Their physical appearances (hair, faces, etc.) are the same as before; they just have new - better - clothes.

Here are the changes:

Lusitania
-She’s still wearing gray, but it’s much darker now. There’s no more Cunard red in her design, as she didn’t have her normal livery when she sank.
-The style of her dress is more historically accurate and includes a shirtwaist-type layer underneath.
-She no longer has eyeshadow. It was pretty, but it was inaccurate enough that it bothered me.
-She now has gloves!
-Her lapels are no longer fluffy and instead have an art nouveau poppy design. There are a total of seven poppies in the design; she also has seven on her hat, plus her brooch for a total of 15. The numbers are deliberate: the 15 poppies refer to the year 1915, when Lusitania was sunk, and the sets of seven are connected to the dates of her launching and sinking. Her launch day was on June 7th, her maiden voyage was in 1907, and she was sunk on May 7th after a little over seven and a half years of service.

Normandie
-Her dress now has a proper art deco design instead of the flame print. The pattern on the bodice is based on a floor pattern I saw in a picture of her (I’m not a Normandie expert so I’m not entirely sure where the floor was), and the concentric squares along the bottom are meant to evoke the waffle-esque design on the ceiling in her first-class dining saloon, with the letter N in the center of each square (no points for guessing what that stands for).
-Her dress is still short to vaguely connect her silhouette with that of Queen Mary 2, but the cut is less modern-looking now.
-The sleeves are based on those elaborate multi-tiered lights seen in her first-class dining saloon! I planned to add tassels as well, but ultimately changed my mind as it didn’t quite look right.
-Her dress now includes a belt and a halter-style collar, as well as strings of beads attached to the belt.
-She still has the melting-candle heels, but the rest of her shoes have been modified so as to match her dress better. They look more fiery now; this is meant to further the candle motif.
