Description
Somewhere, there is a cart with nothing but a single Ori pulling it along the path with it's handler leisurely ushering it along. The cart made various stops in different towns dropping and picking up various eggs to be transported from town to town. Most days the cart would travel fair weather; however, with winter barely gone and spring just on the horizon, the weather had become unpredictable.

The Ori handler scanned the skies and frowned as the blue became hidden behind a brewing storm. Sitting up and holding onto the reigns, they had commanded the Ori to run faster in hopes to either get to a town or a more sheltered area before the storm started. The cart picked up pace and hit a bump in the road that shouldn't have caused anything to happen. Unknown to either Ori nor handler, the bump was enough for a poorly secured egg to tumble out of the cart and fall into the dirt.

The dull orange egg cracked upon impact and rolled before settling into place. When it glowed no one was there to witness it, and if it was left out shaking as the rain began, not one soul was aware. Drops from the sky became more frequent going from a drizzle to heavy rain in a matter of minutes.

Some time passed and the egg's glow faded. It had stopped rocking. The raindrops pounded harder creating small puddles around the egg. More cracks formed on the hard shell and as a small head managed to break though, a blinding flash of lightning by a loud crack of thunder drowned out the wyngling's first cry to the world.

And so it lays there, crying, unknowingly pleading to be found by anyone in the cold rain.
