The drawing above was based upon the style of storyboard extraordinaire and book illustrator, Bill Peet. Its inspiration originated from arboreal scenes that I witnessed at Kruger National Park in South Africa, in which leopards hauled their kills high into the tree branches, safely out of reach of other predators - namely hyenas - that caught wind of their sanguinary meals.Related content
