The sound of footsteps brushing against the nice feeling grass filled the area. Pacing themselves, the group of friends followed Joseph as he lead the way. He floated slightly above the ground as Star walked beside him, her eyes sparkling more than usual. "So do all Draconequus float?" she asked. "I mean it all depends really," he replied, "I'd say there are those rare cases where a draconequus aren't able to float." Bolt glided over him as he said, "So Joseph, give it to me straight, how are draconequus when it comes to pranking?" "Please," he said with a flick of his dragon tail, "Pranking doesn't even begin to define how intense and quite hilarious us Draconequus can get into it." "I bet your guys parties are on a whole other level!" Pumpkin chimmed. "Ooooo I'm so excited!" Cinnamon bounced ahead as her tail wagged happily behind her. "As excited as I am, I sure can't wait for a proper resting." Velvet admitted. "I know one of my favorite napping spots is by the waterfall." Joseph said, "It's really soothing and always puts me to sleep."

Chance noticed Lily wasn't talking as much or asking questions like their friends. Now Chance knew his sister better than anyone and that something must be bothering her. He came by her side as he said, "Hey." "Hey." Lily replied. "What's bugging you?" he asked. Flicking her tail Lily said, "What do you mean?" Chance rasied a brow, "Lily I know you and I know that look. You can tell me." Lily looked down slightly as she sighed, "Okay, I'm just feeling nervous." He nodded his head at her, telling her to continue. "I mean after all these years, we're finally going to be getting the answers we've been looking for so long." "And?" Chance inquired. "And I'm nervous because, well-" she drifted off, her mane growing hot at how silly she was thinking, "What if it isn't everything I could ever hope for?" He looked at his big sister for a moment before smiling. "Well," he smiled softly, "If it isn't, look how far you've come." She looked at her friends who were all filled with excitement before looking back at Chance. "No matter what happens, just know we've uncovered a lot more about our species than anyone ever before." Lily smiled at her little brother. "Thanks." she purred. She floated over him as she gave him an affectionate lick behind the ear as Chance purred.

"Hey is the air feeling funny to you?" Cinnamon asked. "I hope you aren't getting into any raw sprinkles again." Bolt said, "It does stuff to you." "First off if Cindy had any she would be sharing." Pumpkin defended as Cinnamon discretly wiped her cheek of any evidence as she slowly pressed a can back into her mane. "And second, the air is feeling a little different." Velvet said before clapping his hoof over his mouth. That last word made him sound high in pitch. "Velvet ar' you okay?" Pomme asked as her voice did the same thing. "Bwahaha! Your voice sounds hilarious!" Bolt laughed before realizing his voice was high pitched. "What's happening?" Star and Chance asked. "I guess I should have said something," Joseph said, "But than where's the fun?" "We're about to cross the border and well there is a sort of chaotic barrier. It was created long ago to keep anything dangerous from crossing through and if it were to get through, a warning would come through too but because of our chaotic nature, transitioning from outside the border to enter our homelands is sort of odd too." "So what your saying is balloon voices till we adapt to the new land?" Lily asked. "Bingo." he winked. "Than why does your voice act all funny too if you live here? We're the foreigners." Star asked. Joseph shrugged, "It's more fun!" The friends all looked at one another as Joseph said, "Come on!" They all rushed as they couldn't help but have a little fun. Bolt snatched up Pomme's hat as she galloped after him, calling after him in her high pitched country voice. "You better get back here!" she called as Velvet laughed at her adorable voice. "You tell a joke!" Cinnamon giggled. "To many to say with these hilarious voices!" Pumpkin laughed as the twins started wheezing in laughter. Lily giggled as she crept behind Joseph and scared him. "gah!" he said a little shocked as Lily started laughing at the hilarious voice. Joseph smiled as he said, "Have your laugh, at least I'm not running out of cotton balls." He held up a strickingly familiar pink cotton as Lily looked to her tail to find that her cute little ball of fluff at he end was gone. "Hey." she smiled playfully. She chased him as the two giggled at the fun play! Lily caught up to the boy as she snatched her cotton tail back and placed it back to her tail.

Lily looked at the ground as she noticed a change. It was as if they were walking in the stars with sparkles surround the entire area. That's when a butterfly fluttered to her as she noticed it wasn't any old butterfly. This butterfly had toast for wings and butter as a design. Giggling slightly she held out her hoof as she let it land their. Nuzzling the creature she felt a warm feeling grow in her heart. "You seem to be a natural with these little guys." Joseph said. "Ah," she smiled, "Just one of my many talents." Joseph smiled as his tail curled slightly. He kept his gaze on her as the rest of the gang finally came together. "Ready when you are." came Star's voice. Joseph cleared his throat as he took lead. "Alright let's go." His voice seeming to go back to normal.

You could feel the enrgy passing between everyone. Excitement bubbled around the group as they could feel the atmosphere changing. Joseph came to a stop finally. Looking at the group he said, "You've travled a long way and I'm very honored to say that we've finally made it. Welcome to The Land of the Draconequus." They looked ahead with wide eyes, not knowing what to expect! But to thier shock all they could see was more forest life. The ponies shifted awkwardly as they tried to find words. "Wow it's foresty!" Cinnamon smiled. "And lots of trees." Pumpkin added. "Maybe they live up in the trees?" Velvet guessed as Pomme harshly whispered, "Don't be rude." "What do you think?" Joseph asked. "Well it's uh," Lily stared, "It's certainly unexpected." Joseph started laughing, not able to keep it in any more. "Boy the looks on your faces is absolutely priceless." he said as he snapped his fingers. A photo of each of their faces landed in their hooves and paw as they looked at him. "That was good," he said, "Now come on." He stepped forward as he dissapeared. They let out a slight gasp at his sudden dissaperance. Joseph's head popped out as he said, "Well come on, don't be shy now." Looking at one another they nodded. Without hesitation, they walked to the other side. It felt so odd, like walking through a portal!

The land beneath there hooves and pads felt soft, wlecoming, and tingily. Joseph was a couple feet away from them as his tail wagged with excitement. "Just over this hill!" he said as he was nearing the top. Before going after him, the friends looked at one another. "We're ready when you are." Star said to Lily. Lily smiled, "Let's go into the unkown." They followed Joseph up the hill, reaching the top. Joseph stood proudly as the group looked out across the horizon. Star's jaw dropped at the sight, the twins gleaming with excitement, Bolt holding a neutral gaze. Pomme looked to Velvet as she could feel him tense up. Lily's swirly eyes swirled in bewilderment at the sight in front of them. "Lily and friends," Joseph said, "Welcome to The Land of the Draconequus." While everyone looked in bewilderment, Chance's floof began to rustle. A tiny head poked out from his floof, Penelope. Hazy and still half asleep she muttered, "Did we make it Chancy?"
