Yesterday because of all the high winds, the internet was down all day, so I didn't get to post this when I finished it.I about had a heart attack, because when I was removing the tape I'd put around the edges, it ripped at the corner. Thankfully with the aid of tape and Photoshop I was able to repair the image, but I'm still pretty down about the damage done to the original piece.
Marker, gel pen, conte and china marker were used in this one. I'm overall really happy about this picture and the camo turned out pretty well too. Part of the reason I'm still so upset about the damage that occurred just as I was finishing the piece.

Naked Snake: Dammit....not even a single beehive to drop on those sentries. Guess I'll have to do this the old fashioned way....
(5 mins later-Snake is bleeding from a dozen wounds and charging forwards with the Patriot blazing on full auto as GRU soldiers, Hind Ds and the jetpack troopers converge on him)

*after 5 mins of laughter at that image* Thanks! The binoculars after all are the center of the pun in the title - those two are about to be on the wrong end of a Snake encounter.
Me? I'm more of the hide in the grass, snipe them with the Mk. 22/EZ Gun and giggle like a mad woman as I sneak past their unconscious bodies. Besides, it makes my fight with the Sorrow easier.
...One of these days I'll get a FOXHOUND ranking... maybe... just as soon as those scientists stop catching me as I'm trying to escape Graniny Gorki... Or the guards don't catch me escaping from Groznyj Grad... or I stop failing at escaping in general.
Either way, Snake's still awesome.

Totally understand about the rip, man =/. I once spent like 3 months shading books only to have someone accidentally spill water on half of a pencil piece. Photoshop was, of course, able to make it look almost like it had never happened, but it was sooo depressing.
Anyway, I just spent about 5 minutes looking for evidence of rip cover-ups and there is no way I'm going to find that thing.
Regardless, this is totally fab.

Oh wow. I might have cried had that happened to me. I have to admit, for this piece, just looking at the image online I forget where the rip is. I'd have to either pull out the original or look at a larger version of it.
Thankfully, technology can help us out of most of those tight spots.

aye, i'm quite the opposite. XD Don't really have as much skill traditionally as I do digitally, and so, most of my stuff is digital.
And he kicked so much more ass than Solid Snake IMO. no Soliton Radar, no high tech sneaking suit, he even had less rounds in his lethal gun! And on Extreme Mode, you don't have ANY of the sensors. D8 No AP Sensor, no sonar, nothing.

All very good points I might add. (I'm not nearly that hardcore and have only played the game on easy >_>; ) MGS3 is by far my favorite of the series that I've played. I figured it's high time to show my love.
