It's been a while since I posted a tutorial anyways.

This is an extremely basic shading technique. As crude as it is, I sometimes still use this as it is very fast....
also cause I am lazy.......

With this technique, I can rapidly shade and colour pictures. Found that especially for comics, it is very useful so as not to leave the thing half-done due a loss of inspiration.
Using triple shading or one of it's variants, I can often get past shading in bout less than half an hour and so giving me more time for effects.

Though more recently I had started advancing and trying various improvements on this tutorial.

This tutorial is mostly supposed to be used in conjunction with a lineart tutorial. (such as [link] )

Methods used here are NOT hard-and-fast rules but more of guides that you can use for more experimentation.

Beyond this stage normally I will do minor effects and so on. May do a tutorial on that if anyone is interested.

Model used was an old Drakenfox sketch somewhere in my scraps heap.

Some of you may recognise the Drakenfox...... that little bundle of horror.
