EDIT: Finally added some whiskers to these guys because thatβs been bugging me for years XDSo this is a follow up from the brilliantly talented works of DJ88 Β
I share most of her same views on this topic, so if you'd like to read that explanation, I'd read the description under her beautiful piece.
Anyways, basically I added Lion Guard Simba to the mix. He doesn't look as bad as I originally thought he would. But those eyes are huge. O-O
I tried to follow the styles from each individual movie the best I could, I hope it turned out ok.

I think the reason why he looks so fat in the second movie is because he stopped eating insects and began eating larger animals like Zibras and gazellesΒ xD just a stupid theory. Nice work btw!

The animation of Simba from the lion guard is just down right awful. It doesn't even look like Simba to begin with, the colours are lazy, face structure is too plan and wonky, eyes are too big
He looks like he's freakin constipated lol
and don't even get me started on his heavy, heavy voice
(I'm not insulting your art in anyway. Every drawing of Simba looks completely spot on and amazing c: )

No no no! I get what you're saying, but thank you very much! I agree with you on everything you've pointed out, but I guess not all things can be perfect. I do wish that all of the Simbas were alike, but oh well.
