Entry to 's original character contest. I'm grateful for it because it forced me to actually come up with a story for my characters XD.

The character design is not exactly stable at the moment, but here are the basics:

The story essential revolved around the girl... I haven't come up with suitable names yet XD

It begins in modern day, I'll probably stick with China. An ancient tomb is found but the corpse (this girl) is preserved perfectly. She is delivered over to scientists who are interested in discovering the secret behind this body. Taken out of the coffin, she wakes up and escapes into the world outside the lab (with help of course). The problem is she has no memory of her life before "death". Somehow she is able to adapt quickly to modern society but gains memory of an alternate identity (i.e. wrong memory, not her real one). She decides to become a police officer, and things develop from there (e.g. love (the guy) (actually, not initially), friendship...)

Are we supposed to give the whole story or just character backgrounds?

Age: apparently 24
And what is the secret? It's sci-fi. She comes from elsewhere in the galaxy which developed long before earth. There are fine-tuned machinary inside people from there (almost like engineered to perfection). Because of the machines, she cannot die normally, usually just hiberates. But she is still possesses human emotions and conditions.

So she fell down to earth 2000 (?) years ago. At that time, her memory was reset. She was taken in by some person and recruited into labor and later prostitution. She escapes and becomes involved with rebels against the emperor. This is where the guy in the picture (2000 years ago) comes in. Because of the machines inside her, she learned fast, and volunteered to go undercover into the palace. More rising action and she thinks she's in love with the general. The leader of the rebel also cares for her. She eventually gets killed at the hands of the general....

Then it's modern day... and the point is that history is not repeated though the same characters are present (for the most part).
