Description
Test render of a typical guardsman's clothing from Smacky's home city of Ronail. He's not 100% done, but close enough for a test render.Rendered in DAZ Studio 4.6, minor color correction in Photoshop CS6. Figure is Genesis with a ton of different parts, including Night Guard, Alruna armor, Defiant, and some custom textures.
Thanks for taking a look!

A little sack for carrying gold, dried food, or whatever miscellaneous junk a guard might need.

Thanks very much! I wonder if it might be too detailed with all the swirls, but I guess if it's going to be 3D, it might as well be detailed.

Looks great! Dig the color scheme especially, tho the abundance of scroll work leans a bit towards the feminine for me anyway. Not that that's a bad thing, just a personal observation

Thanks! No, that's a good point about the scrolls, but a lot of the designs in Ronail (Smacky's home town) will have swirly designs (which will explain the swirls on her outfit). Extra bonus: it will allow me to use textures with swirly designs without having to remove them. Much appreciated!

Well then that definitely works if it's something integrated throughout your designs

I like the colours and your mix doesn't look like a mix.

Thank you very much! I tried to get the colors and general design to match without completely retexturing all that much. Glad you think it came out OK.

I tried to make a generic looking guard before, but failed miserably. You, however, have expertly succeeded. Well done!

It was! I was never really knowledgeable of changing textures and whatnot, so it ended up looking really mismatched.
