Description
Heavyweight of the Vanguard's two frigate classes, the Bilander replaces the Karve's support role with armour and firepower, serving to run down small ships, demolish escorts, hunt pirates and destroy heavy munitions like torpedoes. The Bilander's core weapon is a spinal hydrokinetic beam cannon, firing molten metal. Alongside the sustained beam fire the Bilander can instead rapid-fire bolts of molten metal. When paired with extending magnetic pylons(not shown), the Bilander can rapidly alter its fire vector, allowing it to attack multiple targets with spinal-grade fire in rapid succession. While impractical against larger targets, this proves more than capable in destroying enemy torpedoes and heavy snubcraft.Weaponry
