Continuation from 8-Bit Mighty Megan (Open) Adoptable

"They're hissing!" I tell the XO. "Shield!"
"I don't - " she starts, but it's too late. My shield is up, though their pheromones are potent and can tear them down quickly. More lizards join, more hissing/spitting, more pheromones.

I'm firing the bazooka fast as I can and lizzies drop like flies, then dodge back behind cover. Nadia's not so fortunate as the lizard musk immobilizes her and lasers pound her. Her shields will hold for a while but that's a lot of laser fire. I try to get out from behind cover but I'm pinned and cannot get over to the XO. More laser fire pounds her.

She's not going to make it.
Punching open the comms, I look for help. Everyone's tied up. Except for Monica and Nat who just dusted off. I think.

"HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!" I scream. They have to get here fast!
