Ta da!! My first horse pic XD done in ink pen and colouring pencils...the scanner managed to suck some colour from them
Ah well, i quite like the way this turned out, I used other sketches that i'd done of spirit and rain as teh background
I likes horsies.... BweeeeeeRain and Spirit are Β© to Dreamworks and are from the movie; 'Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron'

ok the only thing you should work on is the ears, BECAUSE when a horses point their ears back it means they are: mad, scared, anooyed. mabye point them up a bit other wise great!

Nice pic. I just have one constructive critisism. I know Spirit's mane and tail are dark, so it's easy to think they are black. However, one the DVD extra "learn to draw Spirit" James Baxter (Spirit's artist) used and said to use a dark, chocolate brown for the mane and tail.

Spirit! I am completely IN LOVE with that movie. The animation in it simply takes my breath away (especially the opening sequences).
I adore how you drew Rain and Spirit! ^_^ Horses can be such a pain to draw but you made them look very good. I think the colors still looks great, very soft looking too! The sketches in the background were a good idea.
