One thing I kept noticing during inktober was that people created art that were miles over their usual stuff. I think due to the limited use of colors creativity had to come from somewhere else - what came out of that was just such good art. Maybe I should have joined in on inktoberI've had a minor art-block the last couple of weeks. I really want to create and I do have some ideas, not great ideas but some, however every time I pick up my pencil blaaah just comes out.
I wanted to give this new technique a go and hopefully now that I've finished something I'll get back on track again!

I'm actually not sure.. I just kind of evolved. There wasn't one specifik thing that made me go: I'm going to paint this. I'm sorry - that wasn't very helpful

Looks like I slipped into art block recently X( I'm so busy and tired all the time that every little sketch I could think of just seems not worth the effort ;_; *whiney whiney* art block is stupid.

This is cute in a weird way
I love how you did the ghosts! Excellent shades! They stand out really well which is important for the image but blend just enough to give the fox the centre of attention
The bordering line around the fox is nice too and those little specks of black are nice artistic touch! Sweet work miss!

But I like it. It's different 
Try going through stock photos or something for inspiration or photography of things that you like (dolphins, lizards, bagers whatever)

This fox has really nice shading, all the spots of white and darker. : ) And it`s so cute that his tail works as a pillow: ) The ghosts are simple but climatic, and because there is really much contrast in this painting, all seems so... I don`t know exactly how to say it, not-flat? 3d? Anyway, it`s great : ) (And to be honest, the whole idea is puzzling me a bit: )

I`m wondering why those ghost are watching the fox. Does the fox symbol of something? And why is he floating, and sleeping so calmly? It makes the whole situation quite unreal and forces me to looking for hidden meaning... (Also, this reminds me of some poem by A. Wat (the title in polish is "Być Myszą", but I don`t think that whole poem has been ever translated into english, sorry) and association with poetry make this puzzling feeling stronger).

Actually my first thought was to paint some giant dream catchers. But that just didn't look good.. Then I started to think that the ghosts where there to protect him, or that they might not even be evil but were just kind of there. I haven't decided one thing with this painting. That's why the title is something as vague as "Watched" - it can go both ways (or even more)
