Other tips:- Wash your hands every time you change colors
- Use a different toothpick for every color
- If you're using two different brands of polyclay, that bake in different temperatures, bake it in the lowest temperature.
- If there is a small detail that you've added in the end and you don't want to take the figure to the oven again, you can use hairspray. Even though some brands don't work as well as others, it gets hard.
I'll add more tips as I remember or as I'm asked.
This was done for ~saintrok because he got my kiriban on the 3,500 pageviews
The Ron I've made was drawn by him and you can find it in his gallery.
Btw, I've only ever tried three types of polyclay, so I can only give you my thoughts in those... I've used Kato Polyclay, Fimo Classic and Fimo Soft.
Kato is really solid and might get hard to work with it at first. It is really good if you're creating something which will have a detailed layer on the top. In 1 to 10, I would give Kato's 7.
Fimo Classic is the better than Kato (it is softer) and is better than Fimo Soft, because it is not as hard as Kato nor as soft as Fimo Soft. It is well balanced, and it's my favorite. So, Fimo Classic is a 9.
Fimo Soft is good to do hair and details or clothes over a base. It is too soft and, after you start claying, it gets even softer, and so its form changes a lot, which isn't always good.
O.o Well, I'm not an expert in this, this is only what I've learned by myself.
Fell free to ask any questions!

I'm sorry, but there won't be more tutorials for kiribans... they give me too much trouble... but you can always ask me for some kind of art trade with tutorials Or between a artwork and a tutorial... or something

Cool this will be useful *saves* As I'm going to use polyclay when I'm in the mood for it; it came out so cute that it looks like one of Lego's toys x) btw, how long does it take for you to make this sculptures in polyclay?
I said: Thank you (even though I can spot many mistakes in it)
Hum... this took me about one hour I believe. Usually it takes me about one hour to do any sculpture like this, but that's because I'm slow and that I don't actually do the things the way they should be done (like the jeans) and because I do and re-do the same thing many times, because it wasn't right at first.
But yay, I want to see things done in polyclay!
Oh, and thank you for the
