So this was quite the practice piece for me. I've been wanting to try out a new way of shading, mostly for my warrior scenes, and Im super proud of the outcome.Anywho, this scene is from the novella Leafpool's Wish. If I remember correctly she was reminiscing about her time with Crowfeather. They were playing in a field when Leafpool tackled Crow. What Crowfeather said really stood out to me, and I just thought is was really cute.
What do you all think of Crowfeather and Leafpool? Do you think them splitting up was a good choice, or do you wish that they had stayed together? Maybe you have an opinion on these two and the relationships with Nightcloud and Feathertail?

i love this! it's so beautify done. i really wish that Leafpool and Crowfeather couldv'e had a happy ending. they were really cute together and Crowfeather really opened up to her.

I thought FeatherXCrow was cute but I never liked NightXCrow; I thought Nightcloud was too mean and possessive but maybe, hopefully, Crowfeatherβs Trail will show us a hidden side of Nightcloud.

Great picture it's awesome. Ironically don't know much about Warriors but I love these two. Which is why in my D and D campaign I'm playing a humanized CrowfeatherΒ and hopefully he will have a happy ending

I think that, well, they were extremely dumb for being together, but without it, the, "There will be three, kin of your kin, who hold the power of the stars in their paws," prophesy would not have come to pass.

if you think about it, cinderpelt might never have died if leafpool left like she did.
so she wouldn't be reincarnated because she wasn't dead, so what would have happened to cinderheart? cinderpelt would have to continue living in the state of where she couldn't have what she wanted most. i think they are a good couple, but i'm glad they split up when they did.

I do think it was a good choice for them to split up, because they both had their duties, and Cinderpelt needed all of Leafpool's help as a medicine cat apprentice. Although I do understand why they wanted to stay together, it made Crowfeather and Leafpool both very happy, maybe it would've been different if she was a warrior instead of a medicine cat. Another thing I would like to say is that I do feel bad for his son; He was basically made only for proof of a point that shouldn't have to made over and over again. Poor Breezepelt only wanted to be a good warrior and impress his father, but he was ultimately shut away with Nightcloud.
Other than that I really love this piece ^^!

I honestly really love Crowfeather and Leafpool being together and I wish they had stayed together. Them splitting up was a heartbreaking moment for me and I think it wasn't a good choice. By Leafpool returning to Thunderclan I just think it wouldn't have made much of a difference whether she stayed or left. Ok sure she still needed to birth the the three, but I would have really loved for her to be with Crowfeather.Β
Now going onto Crowfeather's relationship with Feathertail and Nightcloud. I think that Feathertail and Crowfeather would have made a cute couple as well, but I still prefer LeafXCrow. Feathertail was a sweet soul.Β
Nightcloud on the other hand isn't neccessarily a bad character she just fell in love with the wrong cat. Crowfeather might care for her somewhat but not enough like Leaf or Feather.Β

He seemed like less of a douche with Leafpool. If only he'd switched clans and she trained a new medicine cat to take her place before they could be together. Daddy issues and major Douchefeather wouldn't have erupted later on. Bramble and Squirrel would have been his friends in the clan too so he wouldn't have felt like a TOTAL outcast~ >3> it's not like ThunderClan hasn't taken in other clan-born cats or done weirder things before, anyway xD

In my opinion this relationship was more than mutual attraction. There was something in both sides that added to the story. Leafpool was questioning her choice to become a medicine cat. When did she make that choice? When she was barely an apprentice. Would she'd even known what intimate love is at that point of her life? She didn't know that someday she may fall in love with somebody and her being a medicine cat would be an impediment for her happiness. If she only had a choice...
Meanwhile Crowfeather only found real happiness for the first time when he became close with Feathertail and losing her was a huge blow to him even though they only had experienced a few subtle romantic moments. Would he will be able to recover from this and find happiness again? Their relationship is what was the answer to these questions, too bad it ended so sad and of a sudden. I think it had the potential to bring something new to the Warriors world if it had gone on for longer, like maybe a change to the code?

I 100% thought that relationship was going to lead to a huge code change. First, that medicine cat rule is ridiculous, especially considering how much it's been broken. Obviously, that should change. Second, I thought the fact that they spawned the Three was, like, StarClan approval that cross-clan shouldn't be so awful. Man, then there was the whole fight with the Dark Forest where all four clans had to join together, and I seriously thought the aftermath was going to be completely rehashing the code. They added the new rule, but the code still pits the clans against each other and the world in a very narrow-minded way. But no...the Three ended up not even being the three siblings, and the whole plot unraveled. In my head, LeafxCrow lead to all the changes I thought it should have, even if they probably didn't end up together on Earth.Β
I totally agree with you- that relationship was special and had a lot of potential to purge some major flaws from the code.Β

What i dont get is why MALE leaders can do whatever they freaking want with whomever they choose. But females cant take a mate or have kits?

I wished they'd stay together honestly, ;; I felt Crowfeather opened up so much more to Leafpool than any of the three. We saw more of the interaction and connection, their shortlived love hadd.Β

This is really cool! I love Nightcloud though. Plus, there are so many medicine cat forbidden relationships it's not really that surprising or even interesting anymore.Β
