Description
This is a scene I've wanted to do for quite a while. Now that I'm more confident in my style I finally decided to do it. I always hated how Firestar would treat Bramblepaw. While his father was a huge threat, treating his kit as a possible threat was not the smartest thing to do. That was more likely to push him further away, and I'm glad that Firestar eventually realized this and put more trust in Bramblepaw. I really like this moment, mostly because we see that Bramblepaw is determined to show that he's not his father. He simply wants to be a warrior his clan and leader can be proud of.What do you all think of Bramblepaw and Firestar's relationship? Or how do you feel about Bramblepaw and Tigerstar in general?

I really like the father-son Firestar had with Bramblestar.

I personally feel there was nothing wrong with Firestar being paranoid and worried about Bramble, afterall, Tigerstar WAS his father and you never know, Bramble could have felt resentment for him being exiled from the clan. While I don't completely agree with how he first responded, it's not unusual for anyone to be like the way he was in real life.. It was a good way for Firestar to develop as a character since he isn't perfect.. and I know people peg him as a Gary-sue but even Firestar has his imperfections, this part of the story among others are a good example of that.

I looove this! I think it made forester so uncomfortable just because bramble looks so much like tiger star, but this is still no reason. this is a great scene and a great drawing

Bramblepaw is one of my favourite characters. Though he can sometimes be mean and ambitious he always does what's right in the end. And Firestar? He's one of the best warriors. He's so selfless and kind. And I think that his relationship with Bramblepaw/Star really should have been more elaborated on. I feel like they just drifted apart when Bramblepaw became a warrior.

oh man, that would've been nice to see more of a relationship between them later on. Firestar was more of a father figure anyway, it would've been cool to see that more, like with Bramble going to him with his problems or just asking for more advice and such.

I think Firestar knew how he reacted from the start but didn't quite know how to prevent himself from doing that, he was really trying to learn how to help himself to help bramblepaw. He chose to mentor Bramblepaw, to make sure they both went down the right path. This was a good decision because they both really needed to talk each other. Firestar needed Bramblepaw to tell Firestar that he had no intention to be Tigerstar and really wanted to be something greater, Firestar needed to let Bramblepaw know that he was trying really hard to correct his own errors against Bramblepaw and to make sure Bramble was the great cat he wanted to be.

This is so fantastic! That lighting! That shading! That style! Ooooh!! (Spoilers) I think some prophecy about tiger and fire happened in the second arc and made firestar think it was bad so he kept bramble and squirrel away? If so wow....,I don't like their relationship all that much...,tawnypelt left thunderclan to get away from the ones who thought she was tigerstar,so I don't like relationships where there's no trust like 90% of the time...
thats my opinion anyway, I know it got better but still....

Thank you!
And yea, it was pretty bad that he didn't trust Bramble later on when he should have.

I really like the way their relationship evolved. Fireheart/star began with being afraid of him then was stuck mentoring him. His distrust in him was so obvious Bramblepaw called him out on it. Then Firestar knew him better and started trusting him enough to make him deputy.Β
