Annnnnnnnnnd, here we go! Finally done with this, and I've had it. LoL ~_~'

This, as I said yesterday in my blurb about my pal, Meg's, a.k.a. own Sailor Senshi creation, Sailorvoluptuous, here would be mine, Charis ("Kah-riss") Iris Ames, a.k.a. Sailorempath (with pose ref from Magna Carta, I believe ).

Don't ask me why, but the power of empathy, whether having it, or using it like a superhero kinda way has always been at the top of my list of neat . . . well, superhero kind of powers, so it's honestly a bit of a recurring "theme" for me for whatever story I might be writing. Not too often, though.

Anyhow, this cutie face I'd created wayyyyyyyyyyy back in 2003, alongside my Sailortempest senshi, for a Sailormoon RPG I had once been a part of, then gave her a cameo within one of my Sailormoon fics (made her get captured. It was awesome. LoL ~_~). But other than that, she's been pretty much "shelved" for a while since then . . . until now, I guess.

Never bothered to ever draw her, either (go fig), since while I had a faint outline of what she looked like to me in my head, I didn't really have set features, set name, or set ethnicity.

So I've finally settled on all this, what you see here. Um . . . I'm pretty sure she's black, that is, I've decided to make her black . . . I guess. And of French decent. I'm pretty sure. Um . . . I don't know yet. LoL Thought I'd be typical biased "almighty creator" and put at least a teeny tiny bit of me inside of her, by giving her my French ancestry, as well.

As for if she's black or not and why, didn't do it (Did I? I don't know, I said! LoL) because I am, as well, but mainly cuz I was just tired of creating OC senshi which are usually Japanese, of course, etc, so yeah. LoL

But the damned scanner didn't like me today, and made her skin tone a bit TOO light, even though I, myself, didn't make her too dark, either. So I can live with it. LoL

I know, I know: "Hey! She looks like/reminds me of your 'Janan, the Fairy of Empathy' Winx Club gal you made!" Eeeeyeah, cuz Janan's modeled after Charis, powers and all. Charis just took back her look, is all. LoL

I never really had a color scheme set for her sailorfuku, either, but I knew I did want it to be a multitude, like a rainbow (hence her given/chosen middle name, which means precisely that), to signify the range of emotions she can/does (unfortunately) embody.

So I'm glad that when Meg drew her several weeks ago for me first, that she'd done that. I just wonder if she chose these specific colors on purpose, or is aware of their meaning, since they coincide well with Charis's personality and what she does/will go through as Sailorempath. . . .

The actual sailorfuku design, though, is again, primarily of Meg's creation, but I think it's adorable for Charis.

Her facial expression, I wanted to convey a bit of melancholy due to her gift/curse as Sailorempath. So, while she is, indeed smiling some, you (well, I can, anyway LoL) can still see the sadness within her eyes.

"Important Notes"

- Sailorfuku Design: Primarily , with ideas thrown in here/there by me. Meh. LoL

- Sailorfuku Color Scheme: on my behalf

- Physical Appearance: Eyes, like her shoes, are not really gray, but more slate blue (which kind of looks grayish). Hair color is also blue (like royal or dodger blue, but I don't really care if someone would do fanart in the future one day, for example, and made it a bit darker, like navy or something)

- Tiara: Silver in color, with one, golden star, apparently (based upon 's opinion/"choice") to signify her leadership

- Earrings: Dangling, golden star on each ear

- Choker: A simple pearl (which is also perfect, since that's her birthstone, and circles generally symbolize everlasting life, among a few other things, and as a Sailor Senshi, that's usually pretty much guaranteed LoL)
