What can I say? Apparently whenever I get bored, creativity happens. LoL ~_~

Anyhow, since I'd posted that fanart of a fanart of Neo Sailorvenus the other day, from Janelle J.'s "Sailormoon: Neo" fic, I started walking down memory lane, as it were, of how I'd inhaled that entire trilogy when I'd first happened upon it years ago, and how impressed with the various fanart she'd gotten for it, etc.

And then I went through the wallpaper area again, and reminisced how the Neo Sailormercury one was always my fave, then was like, "Hmm...a shame she's apparently never gotten anymore wallpaper for her characters." Then I'd remembered another fanart drawing for her series that had always been one of my faves, of Hino Rei's daughter, Hisakino Karei, a.k.a. Neo Sailormars, found here: [link]

It was done by one named "Kunika" (and so, yet again, I say I'm in no way trying to stake claim upon your work, if you ever read this in the future), who'd done a fantastic job (and had also drawn the one of Neo Sailormercury I'd just previously mentioned, also found here: [link] ).

And since I'd always liked that particular drawing of Karei, and the fact that she always had a personal, inner struggle to become stronger like her mother before her as a senshi for pretty much most of the story (as I remember it, anyhow -- It HAS been several years since I'd sat down and read the entire trilogy, after all ^_^' But I still remember the majority of it clear as day, since it, although not super-duper much like its author -- although perhaps I had caught her on a bad day when I'd met her, I dunno -- was awesome), I thought I'd make my OWN wallpaper to reflect upon that.

It's not the greatest, since I don't traditionally do wallpapers, and besides that PGSM one of Princess Serenity I'd posted a few days back, this is the only one I've ever done before.

Still, I don't think it's SO bad, especially given the kinda basic computer programs I currently have to make it in the first place. LoL

The drawing, again, isn't mine but done by the obviously talented "Kunika," while everything else had been made by me. Added a red tinted, luminescent "sheen" upon Karei's forehead and over her sigil, though, to sort of show her actively trying to tap into and awaken her true power of Mars, etc. And made the fractal background (which thankfully looks a bit fiery ^_^' ) a bit blurred and "hazy" everywhere except within her immediate area to sort of illustrate that fact (her trying to tap into her power) and it expanding out, etc.

And as for the text, one, it's how I'd just explained before, how Karei was always pretty frustrated with her lack of true strength, power-wise as a senshi like her mother. You'd have to read the story to understand the rest of the meaning of what I'd written there, though.

Don't bother telling me, though, that it sucks, cuz I know it does. I'm not an expert wallpaper maker, damn it. LoL ~_~ But it'd be neat if someone actually used it as wallpaper, though. LoL
