Almost 4 A.M. I did it again. Got into the zone and worked out this project. It's got a little of everything, drawing, narrative, and dramatic illustration. The subject matter took an unexpected turn after Amoebos shape-shifts to assume Karen's form, then uses it to seduce dinner. Where'd that come from - the movie, "Species?" No complaints, because it provided the opportunity to explain the terrible burden of guilt and shame that Karen carries as the result of being symbiotic with an Alien who does bad things, sometimes - and if that weren't enough, does them masquerading as her! (In this case, however, Amoebos's Amazing Transformation into the likeness of Karen to lure prey is a literal nightmare from which Karen is awakened, removing herself from the inner chamber of Amoebos's mantle, where she sleeps - as in a mother's womb.)
