Description

Have had a lot coming at me in my personal life. Since Thanksgiving, it has been a bit of a ride through hell and back. But through my mistakes and knowing I was in the wrong when it came to pushing on someone I cared about's boundaries... I have not lost sight of who I am, what I believe in, or what I want to do. Now is the best time for me to hate myself and pull myself down, because I have so much evidence for how badly I messed up, embarrassed myself, and was plain annoying. But I won't let that darkness swallow me. I am learning, growing, figuring out, and I can move on and become a better person. Even if no one else can forgive me, I can forgive myself and move on. That at least, I can do right.

Still, going through all of this has also lifted a weight off my chest that has been there for years. I'm consciously trying to change my mindset, as I must at this point, and creativity has been a healthy outlet/escape from what's been going on around me, as it has always done for me~ Very grateful to have a whole visual spectrum to express myself through, the self-actualizing part of creating art is really, really giving me a brand new slate and feeling of self-love. Definitely not going to let my personal thing be an excuse to not meet my art goals for this year!
