This is what happens when you already have three costumes planned out and your friend is like, "Hey let's go as these two characters together." So this is my 2-hour (not counting drying time) Buster Sword. You could probably use the general idea to make one that looks really spectacular, but I am obviously past the point of caring what it looks like XDMaterials: Foamboard, tape, hot glue, wooden dowel, papier mache, spraypaint, gloss sealer, fabric.

You know, this is an awesome tutorial with a really good bare-bones idea of what needs to be done for prop weapons, and hilarious to boot. I was laughing so hard I had to read it out loud to my girlfriend. XD

This is fantastic! It's really useful for conventions that don't allow fully wooden props!
