does the clay actually freeze ir does it "melt" or get warmer over time?

Once you have put it in the freezer it goes hard (freezes) for a while and slowly warms up until its back to the temperature it was before you froze it. Then you cook it to make it hard permanently

One Question: Is it expensive to do this stuff?
I be intrested in doing the same stuff ... but it is only a thought.

solid-paradox In reply to JenniferPadilla [2011-05-22 18:01:39 +0000 UTC]

its not that expensive, one pack of clay is about £/$2 for a fairly large block, the other bits (findings) vary in price depending on quality and quantity

Aww, these are so adorable! You're inspiring a lot with your great works, thank-you!
Your tutorials are great and easy to follow, I'm glad. ^^
I have a question for you though. Do you bake your works in the oven? Sorry if this sounds weird, you never wrote anything like this in the tutorial and I'm a complete beginner with polymer clay.

solid-paradox In reply to Wolfstar56 [2011-02-10 20:12:44 +0000 UTC]

Oh whoops, yeah you do. It's a polymer clay so it only dries in the oven, instructions are on the packet. Thank you very much!

thanks for the tutorial! <3 Can I ask how or where you managed to find cutters that small? Normal cookie cutters are too big to be of any use with tiny charms D:

No problem, I found them at a craft store in the fimo section, but you could just shape them with your hands for squares and stuff...

Rooncakes In reply to solid-paradox [2010-11-02 18:29:05 +0000 UTC]

it just looks so much nicer when you use a cutter, I've been to three craft stores in my area and haven't found a single suitably-sized one x_x I'll have to keep looking

solid-paradox In reply to Rooncakes [2010-11-02 18:49:00 +0000 UTC]

yeah, they should be in the fimo/sculpey section... look on the internet then you'll defiantly find some

solid-paradox In reply to MysticShonu [2010-10-31 22:09:29 +0000 UTC]

dont worry, I'm happy to help
An eye pin is a piece of wire with a hoop at the end, you can buy then at most craft stores and you just open the hoop to attach the chain ect'
