Not at all mate. It was under £60 when it first came out. I simply chose not to splash on any new games for a couple of months over buying this beaut of a kit

haha nope this is the 1/100 scale model kit. You must refer to 3A Toys giga huge figure which I am indeed gotta be mental to afford lol Where would you put such monstrosity as well?!

You're very welcome. ^^  No doubt they were very expensive to get since i'd love to get Rex at the very least since it remains my most favorite Metal Gear after all.    But not ignorant to realize that one alone would no doubt be expensive and not at all easy to assemble...

The original Kotobukiya Rex is indeed very expensive now but they brought out an alternative Black version which goes for under £50 compared to £120+ Rex. That's the problem with all Kotobukiya kits. If you don't get them straight away they jump in price like gold. Building is not a problem at all btw. No glue required and instructions are very clear. Painting takes ages though

Ah, I see.  I thought there was glue required like most models require but seeing as how it doesn't require any surprises me.     And nah, I prefer the original MG Rex, a fake Black version just won't cut it to me.   Thanks for the info though, really.

Yeah although you can just grab a can of Tamiya grey spray paint and spray the parts all over transforming him into your usual MGS1 Rex Thats what I am going to do when Ill save enough to get him. I want to do a clean, MGS1 version of Rex as my first model is rusty MGS4 version
