Description
Party of PCs from a recent AD&D game set in the Dark Sun campaign world. Dark Sun was a notorious setting back in the early '90s, inspired by John Carter of Mars, Dune, Dying Earth and Mad Max. It still retains a very peculiar vibe, distant from the kitchen sink fantasy of these days - it will make a good media franchise still today, with movie CGI and the new wave of grimdark and gritty. The AD&D game was, unfortunately, very broken, and the source material railroaded and nerfed to the extreme ridiculousness.Still we had good time. From left right T'Kkyl - thri-kreen hunter, Mothar - mul gladiator, and Dalek - elven rogue.

I didn't get a chance to ever play ad&d when I was a kid, but I like to read up on the games. I don't recall reading about Dark Sun, so you've introduced me.
The characters look awesome. I really like T'kkly. He/she/itΒ looks pretty cool. I appreciate you sharing this with the rest of us. Awesome job.

Thank you very much and for the record T'kkyl is a "she" - you should have guessed from the purple attire, shouldn't you? π

I actually thought she was a girl just because her name was "Tickle", but I wasn't sure. That's why I didn't just say he or it. The purple part never occurred to me.
