Description
Tamerlain de Beaumanoir was once a soldier under the command of a haughty officer.
He defected the army when he was ordered to pillage and rape. He fled far over the border of the Empire and began living a miserable life as a fugitive, always on the run, his only comfort in the bottle, living of gimmicks as a thug and debt collector. Then one night when he was wandering alone as ever the dark streets of Marienburg he stumbled on a dying man. The man had deadly wounds; he was wearing a black coat and was carrying a weird sword and flintlock pistols. His name was Caleb; he had been a knight errand and monster hunter, finding and destroying evil wherever he could have met it. He spoke to Tamerlain and told him he looked into his soul seeing he was a noble one, seeking for a chance of redemption. He asked him if he wanted to accept his legacy. Tamerlain thought that the stranger was referring to his weapons and cloths, that he could have sold at a fair price.
Instead, the stranger transferred all of his experience to him in an instant: his combat training, psionic mental discipline, and mission. Then the stranger died, relieved.
Tamerlain was now one of the Noble Warriors, an elite caste of wandering demon hunters. He had now his chance to redeem himself.

For this redesign I wanted to keep the steampunk look of the character, his peculiar hairstyle and the humongous magic sword updating them to a newer aesthetic taste, with hopefully better drawing skills. The basic design was left unchanged because it was so easily recognizable that any less than slight change would have turned Tamerlain in another character.
